Texture Press is seeking short fiction for a new anthology:

SHALE: Extreme Fiction for Extreme Conditions

We’re looking for stories that are edgy, young, old, disaffected, selfish and altogether fabulous. We’d like to see fiction from extreme conditions — hyper-industrialized regions, places of economic chaos, etc.

Deadline: September 15, 2014

Authors whose work is included will receive complimentary copy of the print book.
(The book will be available both as e-book and print book.)

Projected date of publication: 12/2014 or 1/2015

Stories should not exceed 1250 words.
